Green Dog Sessions

This is a relaxed, round-the-table style music session in the spirit of folk traditions — collaborative, inclusive, and all about making music together.

Our aim is to create a supportive environment where everyone, from beginners to more experienced players, can learn, grow, and enjoy playing together. If you’re confident with a song or tune, you’re encouraged to help others learn it too. This isn’t a space for solo performances or showing off — it’s about playing with each other, not at each other.

We’ve set up a WhatsApp group for sharing ideas, suggesting songs or tunes for the group to learn, and helping each other prepare. You’re very welcome to bring new material to the group — whether it’s something traditional, a favourite tune, or something you’ve written yourself — and to teach it to others.

The goal is to build a shared repertoire and a friendly musical community.

Let’s enjoy making music together!
