CyclingUK’s Glow Ride in Wimborne

Wimborne’s first Glow Ride!

Last year, thousands of cyclists took part in CycleUK’s Glow Rides in towns and cities across the UK.

This year, Wimborne will join in for the first time!

On the evening of Thursday, 22 October, a group of local cyclists , brightly dressed and lit, will be cycling round Wimborne. We aim to promote safe cycling for all and the message is “Be Seen, Be Safe”

Come and cheer us on in Wimborne between 6 and 7pm on 22nd October!

Want to join in the ride? It’s FREE ! It’s not long. Just several short loops around Wimborne town centre on our brightly decorated bikes to attract attention to give us all a safer ride in the dark .

If you don’t fancy cycling, we also need some marshalls on the corners to direct the bikes and make some noise! And general support please!

Unfortunately, we can’t allow children to ride this year but they can come along and cheer us all on!

Please let us know if you would like to ride or help.
