Kayleigh Humphries has been shortlisted for The Best New Business at the UK Small Business Awards, a national celebration of UK small business success.This incredible honour celebrates their commitment to delivering high-quality crystals, ritual items, and self-care products, and making a positive impact within the wellness industry industry.
Based in Wimborne, Kayleigh has built The Mindful Collection around a personal, customer-focused approach. Rather than simply selling whatever happens to be in stock, she takes time to understand what customers are looking for and makes personalised recommendations based on their individual interests, intentions and existing collections.
“Being named a finalist is such a lovely recognition of how far the business has come,” says Kayleigh. “The Mindful Collection has always been about more than just selling crystals. I want to create little moments of mindfulness and realistic self-care that people can bring into their everyday lives, and building genuine relationships with my customers is a huge part of that.”
Customer feedback plays an important role in shaping the business, with new products and ideas developed in response to what people are actually asking for. Kayleigh is also expanding The Mindful Collection beyond products; with plans for participatory journaling and wellbeing workshops where people can explore different approaches to journaling, intention-setting and self-care.
The finalist recognition comes as The Mindful Collection continues to develop its local presence, with Kayleigh serving customers in Wimborne and surrounding areas while also growing the business online across the UK.
For Kayleigh, being recognised as a finalist is particularly meaningful as a small independent business that has grown gradually and intentionally.
“I’m really proud to have reached this point,” she says. “It’s exciting to see something that started as a tiny seed, grow into a community and a business that people genuinely want to be part of. It truly feels like my calling.”
