PetCove and FishCove Aquatics Celebrate National Pet Shop Day as the Area’s Only Official Participating Stores

Local pet lovers are being encouraged to shop local and celebrate National Pet Shop Day, with PetCove and FishCove Aquatics proudly leading the festivities as the area’s only participating stores.

Pet lovers across the area are being invited to celebrate National Pet Shop Day on Saturday 11 July, with PetCove and FishCove Aquatics proud to be the only officially registered participating pet stores in the local area. National Pet Shop Day is a UK-wide initiative celebrating the vital role that independent pet retailers play in supporting pets, owners and local communities.

The campaign aims to bridge the gap between how much pet owners value independent pet shops and their actual shopping habits. Research highlighted by National Pet Shop Day shows that many pet owners appreciate the expertise, personal service and community focus offered by local stores, yet often choose larger retailers or online alternatives.
To mark the occasion, PetCove and FishCove Aquatics will be running special promotions and offers throughout Saturday and Sunday, with a free goodie bag available with every purchase, while stocks last.
The event provides an opportunity for customers to discover the benefits of shopping locally, including expert advice, specialist knowledge, carefully selected products and personalised support for pet owners.
