Wimborne BID Releases Business Plan for Its Next Five-Year Term

Wimborne’s businesses are being given a chance to vote in a ballot to renew Wimborne BID for another five-year term.

The current BID term ends on 31st March 2026, and a fresh business plan written in consultation with over 100 local businesses has now been sent out. Every eligible business will have the opportunity to vote “yes” or “no” on whether to continue the BID for a new five-year term.

Now, as we look ahead, the Wimborne BID Business Plan 2026–2031 sets out a clear roadmap for how we’ll continue to support, promote, and invest in Wimborne’s future.

The new business plan outlines our priorities for the next five years, focusing on:

  • Cleaner, Greener, Safer
  • Promotion
  • Events
  • Christmas
  • Representation and Collaboration

Acting as a strategic backbone for small businesses, Wimborne BID funds essential training, champions local voices, and promotes Wimborne through professional marketing initiatives – resources often unavailable to independent retailers.

Wimborne BID is a not-for-profit organisation, funded through a levy paid by eligible town centre businesses, it’s only those payers entitled to vote.
